First consignment off to Afghanistan

The first consignment left Lahore on 8th December night to Afghanistan. It contains the following

Traditional suits for,
Gents 1503
Ladies 1310
Children 2420
Jackets and sweaters 704
Blankets 110
Quilts 12
Pair of Shoes 495
And a small portion of dry food.

It is estimated that the total cost of this consignment could be around $6000. It would reach tonight on 9th December at Peshawar where it will be handed over to the representatives of Afghan Revolutionary Labour Organization.

Part of the donations received from abroad has been used to buy the blankets and for the transport cost. The rest of the items were collected and packed by the supporters of Labour Party Pakistan.

Another consignment will be sent after the Eid Ul Fitar on 17th December. Labour Party Pakistan units across the country are collecting the cloths and other items for the next truck.
